Neva D. Davidson Jackson, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Oil Trough, Ark., daughter of Clinton and Luda Pearl Kent Davidson. She and Malcolm N. Jackson were married July 6, 1949, in Charleston, Mo. He died July 2, 1998.
She was a homemaker, member of Grace United Methodist Church, Kage Extension Club, Red Hat Society and former 4-H leader.
Survivors include a daughter, Myra (Robin) Burgfeld of Cape Girardeau, sons, Albert (Donna) Jackson of St. Louis, Malcolm Kent (Tammy) Jackson of Jackson, daughters, Mary Luanne Jackson of Arnold, Mo., Carla (John) Kuehn of Perryville, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston, with graveside service at 2 p.m.
