ANNISTON, Mo. -- Nettie F. Rodgers, 94, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Oct. 10, 1906, in Mississippi County, Mo., daughter of Joseph D. and Ollie Roach O'Connor. She and James F. Rodgers were married in 1937. He died Jan. 11, 1954.
Rodgers was a former factory worker, and a member of First Christian Church in Anniston.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Choate of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Agnes Leech, Delsie Myrick and Sally Westmoland, all of East Prairie, Mo.; a friend, Tina Boyer of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Richard Hockersmith officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.
