NESBIT TILLEY

ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Nesbit Tilley of Peoria, Ill., was held Monday at Wilton Mortuary in Peoria. The Rev. James Sandy officiated, with burial in Springdale Cemetery at Peoria.

Tilley, 84, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 1995, at her home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1910, in Advance, daughter of Oscar and Nettie Bollinger Tippett. She and Arthur J. Tilley were married March 23, 1940, in Davenport, Iowa. He died Nov. 15, 1969.

Tilley had been a registered nurse.

Survivors include a son, Donald Tilley of Peoria; two sisters, Pearl French of Highland, Mich., Inez Kokal of Glendale; a brother, Doyle Tippett of Farmington, Mich.; four half sisters, Claudine Lorch and Wanda Jenkins of Advance, Mary Murray of Wakefield, R.I., Nelline Myers of Haines City, Fla.; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
