PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Neola H. Prevallet, 85, of Perryville died Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at the Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville.
She was born Dec. 31, 1929, in Uniontown, Missouri, and is the daughter of Chalmer Morrison and Hattie Bock Morrison-Mueller. She and Melvin W. Prevallet were married June 5, 1949. He preceded her in death March 18, 2012.
Neola worked as an inspector at Prince Gardner and was a baby sitter. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and LWML in Perryville. She graduated high school with perfect attendance and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Stanley) Galeski and Sarah Borden, both of Perryville; two sons, Steven (Carla) Prevallet of Branson, Missouri, and Stuart (Shelly) Prevallet of Perryville; one sister, Leona Hoehn of Perryville; 10 grandchildren, Shannon (Jennifer) Galeski, Shane Galeski, Spencer Prevallet and her fiance Jared Drye, Lakyn Prevallet, Lane Ryder Prevallet, Brittany (Matt) Boeck, Ben Prevallet and Courtney, Austin and Dustin Borden; and four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Alayna and Khloe Galeski and Josh Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gerald, Chalmer and John Morrison; one sister, Loretta Krauss; and one stepgrandson, Shawn Galeski.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to KFUO, Immanuel Lutheran School Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
