PERRYVILLE -- Nelma I. Davis, 69, of Moberly, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 6, 1993 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 5, 1923 in Moberly, daughter of Russell E. Mansfield and Jewel L. Bryson Mansfield Kennedy.
Her stepfather, Michael J. Kennedy, also preceded her in death.
She married Walter A. Davis Oct. 4, 1939. He preceded her in death July 17, 1980.
She is survived by one son, Lloyd Davis, California; one daughter Joan Moonier, Perryville; two brothers, Russell Mansfield and Gerald Mansfield, both of Centralia, Mo.; two sisters, Hazel Belle Dameron, Verna Lillo, N.M., Joan Sweezer, Moberly; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
One daughter, two brothers and two grandsons preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The body will be taken to Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, Mo. for visitation after 4 p.m. Monday.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico with the Rev. Ken Ingrum officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Land Cemetery in Moberly.
