NELLIE SAMUELS

Parma, Mo. -- Nellie G. Samuels, 76, of Parma died Friday, July 13, 2001, at her home.

She was born June 4, 1925, at St. Francis, Ark., to Oliver and Ada Ward Samuels.

She lived in Parma for 45 years and was a member of Parma Assembly of God Church. She was retired from the Brown Shoe Company.

Survivors include one son, Donald C. Kirkwood III of Sherwood, Ark.; one daughter, Adaina Ruth Kirkwood Pulliam of Bernie, Mo.; one brother, Carlos Samuels of Paris, Ky.; three sisters, Mary Embry of Florissant, Mo., Aylene Harp of Belleville, Ill., and Freida Bitticks of St. Charles, Mo.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 5-8 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Susan Marner Sides of Bernie officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery at St. Francis, Ark.
