NELLIE M. STORY

BERTRAND -- Nellie Mae Story, 91, of Bertrand, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 9, 1903, in Oakton, Ky., daughter of James and Lucy Frances Massey Furgerson. She and Floyd Story were married in 1945. He died in 1954.

Story was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include four sons, Lindell Thompson of Meadowbrook, Ill., Luther Thompson of Pekin, Ill., Clifford Thompson of Craig, Colo., Wayne Story of Mendota, Ill.; a stepson, Arlen Story of Caseyville, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Mildred Colson of Caseyville; two sisters, Hallie Burns of East Prairie, Edna Fenton of Litchfield, Ill.; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters and three brothers.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 4:30-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in Armer Cemetery near Bertrand.
