JACKSON -- Nellie Lee Scheper, 89, of Jackson died Saturday, July 4, 1992, at the Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Feb. 25, 1903, at Brownwood. On Sept. 6, 1919, in Jackson she married Clarence Scheper, who preceded her in death Jan. 10, 1975.

Survivors include two sons, Jim and Robert Scheper, both of Jackson; three daughters, Juanita Friday of Joplin, Doris Baker of State College, Pa. and Muriel Walke of Wisconsin Rapid, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and a sister.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Cracraft-Miller Chapel, with the Rev. Louis Launhardt officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
