PARMA -- Nellie Floyd Overfield, 92, of Parma, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Sept. 3, 1898, in Joy, Ky., daughter of Charley and Mollie Clements Myrick. She married Henry H. Overfield Oct. 8, 1919. He died June 16, 1967.
Overfield lived here most of her life, and was a member of Parma General Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Chester Overfield of Omaha, Neb., Billy Overfield of Auburn, Mich., Doyle Overfield of Indianapolis, Ind.; a daughter, June Mitchell of Boise, Idaho; 21 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward in 1988, and a grandson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Billy Hamlett will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
