NELLIE DOOM

MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Funeral for Nellie L. Doom of Sandy, Ore., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City. The Rev. Nell Bierman will officiate, with burial in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Sunday.

Doom died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at Sunny Vista Care Center in Portland, Ore.

She married Willie A. Doom, who died in 1980.

Formerly of Mound City, Doom was retired from the State Hospital in Lincoln. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Mound City.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Ziebart of Portland; a stepdaughter, Lois Stromier of St. Louis; two brothers, Virgil Glenn of Villa Ridge, the Rev. Clarence Glenn of McClure; three granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
