NELLIE BRENNECKE

Graveside service for Nellie L. Brennecke of Cape Girardeau will be held at 3 p.m. today at Zion United Methodist Cemetery at Old Appleton. The Rev. Janet Hopkins will officiate.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Brennecke, 85, died Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Feb. 5, 1913, at Farmington, daughter of William F. and Lillie May Dubacker Miller.

Brennecke lived in St. Louis many years, where she worked at Famous-Barr and was a member of Kingshighway United Methodist Church. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1984 and transferred her membership to Maple United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three nephews, Harold Lang of Greenwood, Donald and Rick Lang of Cape Girardeau; three nieces, Doris Brown of Vancouver, Wash., Mary McDaniel of Wentzville, and Carolyn Schwartz of Florissant.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
