NELLA MAE REYNOLDS

DEXTER -- Nella Mae Reynolds, 97, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1995, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1897, at Bernie, daughter of Frank and Liza Jane Huffman. She married E.J. Reynolds Aug. 25, 1918, at Powe. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1989...

DEXTER -- Nella Mae Reynolds, 97, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1995, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 15, 1897, at Bernie, daughter of Frank and Liza Jane Huffman. She married E.J. Reynolds Aug. 25, 1918, at Powe. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1989.

Reynolds lived in the Powe and Bernie communities until 1932 when she and her husband moved to Parma. They operated a grocery store there for 50 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Parma.

Survivors include two nieces, Lucille Smith of Poplar Bluff and Geraldine Trainor of Columbus, Miss.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, with the Rev. R.L. Hester officiating.
