TAMMS, Ill. -- Nell Kerr, 94, of Palmyra, Mo., formerly of Tamms and Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Wednesday, June 8, 1994, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
She was born Oct. 24, 1899, in Oakdale, daughter of Herman and Maben Craig Todd. She married Robert Kerr, who died Sept. 25, 1992.
Kerr received a bachelor's degree in education from Southern Illinois University in 1934. She was a teacher in the Tamms area 37 years.
She was a member of United Church of Christ here and had served as organist and Sunday School teacher, and was a member of Caledonia Chapter 587 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister, Anna Todd of Hannibal, Mo.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home here after 5 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ, with the Revs. Richard and Chuck Todd officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery at Swanwick.
