OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Nelda Grace Bigham, 74, of Olive Branch passed away at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Grace was born March 22, 1944, in Alexander County, Illinois, to the late James and Elma Gullett Hopkins. She worked at a shoe factory for 33 1/2 years...
OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Nelda Grace Bigham, 74, of Olive Branch passed away at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Grace was born March 22, 1944, in Alexander County, Illinois, to the late James and Elma Gullett Hopkins. She worked at a shoe factory for 33 1/2 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Hopkins, Aug. 2, 2016.

Survivors include a son, John Harpole of Olive Branch; daughter, Paula Ray Cripps of High Ridge, Missouri; granddaughter, Courtney Shields; honorary daughter, Kathy TieFenauer of Farmington, Missouri; two sisters, Lois Kiehne of Jackson and Brenda Hopkins of Benton, Missouri; and other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Illinois, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Private inurnment will follow at a later date in Olive Branch Cemetery in Olive Branch.
