Neisha Rebekah Hahs Humphreys, 89, of Clearwater, Fla., died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at Harborwood Nursing Home in Clearwater.
She was born Dec. 8, 1914, at Cooter, Mo., daughter of Alvin P. and Grace Wagster Denton. She and Eugene David Hahs were married March 24, 1934, in Scott City. He died Jan. 8, 1969. She later married Joseph "Leland" Humphreys Dec. 13, 1970, in Scott City. He died April 6, 1990.
Humphreys was formerly of Scott City, where she owned and operated Neisha's Beauty Salon and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Don Hahs of Brecksville, Ohio, David Hahs of Troy, Ill.; four sisters, Margaret Gallagher of Santa Fe, N.M., Charlotte Kimes of Topeka, Kan., Shirley Bode of Boise, Idaho, Donna Biler of Chaffee, Mo.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
