PARMA -- Funeral service for Nathaniel Lewis of Malden will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Parma. The Rev. Don Cooper will officiate, with burial in Malden City Cemetery.

Lewis, 90, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995, at Malden Nursing Center.

He was born June 13, 1904, in Parma, son of Nathaniel and Lena Benner Lewis. He and Ida Wilson were married Sept. 1, 1923. She died May 17, 1958. He later married Altha Warren Jan. 21, 1960. She died June 28, 1981. He and Opal Mosley were married in 1983.

Lewis was a retired carpenter, and long time member of the General Baptist Church in Parma. He moved to Malden six years ago.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bob Lewis of Parma; a daughter, Rose Nichols of Parma; a sister, Lillian Myrick of Dexter; four stepsons, Larry Warren of Dexter, Bob Mosley of Forrest City, Ark., Joe Mosley of Malden, Don Mosley of Rector, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Maxine Hedrick of Dexter, Deanna Corder of Bernie, Jackie Powell of Pueblo, Colo.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren, and several great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and five sisters.
