DELTA -- Nathan Joe Hendershott, six weeks, died Sunday, June 16, 1996, at Children's Hospital in St. Louis. He was born May 4, 1996, in Cape Girardeau, son of Donald "Marty" and Denise McHughs Hendershott of Delta. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Ricky Hendershott of Delta; maternal grandparents, William and Mary McHughs of Thebes, Ill.; paternal grandparents, Ricky and Ann Hendershott of Delta; maternal great-grandparents, Vernon and Dixie McHughs of Thebes and Leo and Minnie Benefield of Anna, Ill.; paternal great-grandparents, Clara Thurston of Cape Girardeau, Billy Bice of Vinegar Bend, Ala., and June Hendershott of Marble Hill.. ...

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance after 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Glen Golden officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
