PARMA -- Nannie Mae Lowrey, 90, of Parma died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at Malden Nursing Center in Malden.
She was born March 16, 1908, in Houston, Miss., daughter of Basil B. and Cannie Bell Bennett Gilliam. She and Leonard F. Lowrey were married Dec. 17, 1927, at Houlka, Miss. He died June 22, 1992.
Lowrey had lived at Parma since 1951, and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James "Bud" Lowrey of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two daughters, Dorothy Lowrey of Parma, Mary Skiles of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Viola Steward of Shreveport, La.; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Jody Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
