Nancy Sehle

Nancy Sehle, 86, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Granite City, Illinois. She and Edward Sehle were married in 1950 and moved from St. Louis to Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death.

Nancy was the secretary for several circuit judges in Cape Girardeau for many years.

She loved her family and enjoyed having her children and their friends in her home. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking, and one of her hobbies was collecting recipes.

She enjoyed participating in Bible studies and was a faithful prayer warrior.

She will be missed by many friends and family.

Her survivors include two daughters, Suzanne (Steve) Smith of Cape Girardeau and Sandra Bassett of Oregon; a son, Scott Sehle of Florida; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

The celebration of her life service will begin at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Andrew Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Home.
