Nancy Ponder, 58, of Jackson passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family and the compassionate care of Saint Francis Hospice.
She was born March 12, 1959, in Indianapolis, daughter of William Russell and Martha June Decker Bolton. She and Randy Ponder were married Nov. 22, 1975.
Nancy was employed 18 years at 1st Tire and Wheel, Inc., in Cape Girardeau. She will be missed by family and friends.
Loving survivors include her husband of 41 years; two children, Shelly (Chris) Hartlein and Michael (Jackie) Ponder, both of Jackson; two grandchildren, Carson Hartlein and Kinleigh Ponder, both of Jackson; a brother, Bill (Rhonda) Bolton of Cape Girardeau; and two sisters, Janice (Larry) Ponder of Jackson and Anita Baker of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Hayleigh Ponder, and a brother, Danny Bolton.
There are no services. Arrangements by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, American Lung Association, or Saint Francis Hospice.
