Nancy Jean Hutchings, 70, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 10, 1949, in Fredericktown, Missouri, daughter of Robert B. and Frances A. Dollinger Hutchings.
Nancy graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School; she worked for Rubbermaid and Walmart in Jackson and had previously worked for the Southeast Missourian. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed painting.
Loving survivors include her sons, Robert (Sheri) Parrish of Oak Ridge, Cliff Parrish of Jackson and Travis (Melissa) Sutton of Cape Girardeau; and grandchildren, Nikki, Dylan, Gage, MacKenzie, Jaden, Payton Tristin and Ahren.
Also surviving are great-grandchildren, William, Brantley and Thomas; sister-in-law, Patricia Hutchings of Jackson; and many cousins, friends and a special canine companion, Reese's.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Joseph; and brothers, Harold and Robert Hutchings.
A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A memorial service will start at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
