Nancy attended Chaffee Elementary and High School with forever friendly classmates. Nancy served the Chaffee Alumni Association as vice president, treasurer and historian. She also was an AARP tax preparer for many years to assist with free taxes. Nancy enjoyed volunteering at the Chaffee Nutrition Center and presided as president of the Nutrition Center for several years. She loved every minute of her duties and helping out where she could.

Other survivors include three brothers, Jerry (Linda) Lee, Terry (Peggy) Lee and Kenneth (Carol) Lee, all of Chaffee; two sisters, Stella (B.J.) Jackson of Smithton, Illinois, and Deborah (Bill) Simmons of Marion, Illinois; and seven grandchildren, Tara (Caleb) Marshall of Scott City, Christina (Dustin) Matty of Scott City, Ryan Cook of Chaffee, Ben (Darlene) De Los Santos of Scott City, Joshua (Madison) Schilling of Jackson, Olivia Harrison of Chaffee and Curtis (Casey) Schilling of O'Fallon, Missouri; as well as 19 great-grandchildren.
