Nadine May Schwartze, 82, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, July 4, 1993 at the Medical Center of Independence, Mo.
She was born Feb. 23, 1911 in Cedar City, Mo., the daughter of Oscar and Grace Gilmore Schanuth.
On Nov. 19, 1993, she married Louis Frances Schwartze at Tuscumbia, Mo. He preceded her in death Sept. 13, 1975.
She attended Halifax School and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had been employed at Oberman Manufacturing Company and at the Tweedies Footwear Corporation.
She is survived by one son, Cletus Schwartze, Parkville, Mo.; three daughters, Jen Sievers, Jackson, Armetta Hickman, Jefferson City, Frances Hentges, Sibley, Mo.; four brothers, Richard Schanuth and Robert Schanuth, both of Independence, Harry Schanuth, Jefferson City, Kenneth Schanuth, California; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
One son preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held at the Buescher Memorial Home in Jefferson City Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John A. Crutchfield officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5-8 p.m.
