PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Nadell "Oclee" Whitehead, 74, of Seventy-Six, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 26, 1930, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Oscar and Zeola Harris Adams. She and Joseph Whitehead were married Sept. 4, 1945. He died July 3, 1974.
Whitehead was a member of Brazeau Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include six sons, Allen Whitehead and Brady Williams of Seventy-Six, Marion Franklin of East St. Louis, Amond Williams of Fayetteville, N.C., Joseph Little of White Deer, Pa., Michael Scott of Perryville; four daughters, Alice Wright of Greenville, Ill., Joanna Johnson and Jeanetta McDonald of Centerville, Ill., Elizabeth Williams of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Bob Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis.
