BARDWELL, Ky. -- Myrtle Ida Biby Slack, 94, of Bardwell passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at her home.
Myrtle was born in Chaffee, Missouri, Jan. 6, 1927, to the late Robert and Blanche Knuff Biby. She was a sweet, kind and loving person who cared for everyone in her life. Myrtle especially loved to show her affection to others through her cooking.
Myrtle is survived by her special family, Kay Bowman (Mike) McChristian, Bobby (Joyce) Carder and Sonya (Craig) Mainord; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo William Slack; her special friend, Tom Carder; two sisters, one brother and her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington, Kentucky.
A graveside service for Myrtle will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Burkley Cemetery with the Rev. Shane Davenport officiating.
