MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Myrtle M. McCormick, 96, of Cabot, Ark., formerly of Marble Hill, died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Cabot Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1910, at Hahn, Mo., daughter of Carria M. and Bertha A. Shell Null. She and Willard Wiseman were married May 29, 1926. He died March 1, 1974. She and the Rev. Hersel McCormick were married Feb. 3, 1979. He died July 9, 1993.
McCormick was a member of Lutesville General Baptist Church and Marble Hill Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Elvis Wiseman of Wood River, Ill.; three daughters, Edith Miller of Wood River, Bernetta Isaac of Cabot, Wilma Woodfin of East Alton, Ill.; a sister, Mildred Cook of Chaffee, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 37 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Willard Wiseman Jr.; three brothers, two sisters and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at noon today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
