JACKSON -- Funeral service for Myrtle Masterson of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Revs. O. Otto Steinhaus and Nancy Woods will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. to service time.

Masterson, 93, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1993, at Deal Nursing Home.

She was born March 6, 1900, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Frank and Julia Sides Masterson.

Masterson worked at International Shoe Co. many years. She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include three nephews, Milton Nitsch of Jackson, Delbert and Bill Masterson of Cape Girardeau; three nieces, Doris Stout of Jefferson City, Fay Bertrand of Herculaneum, and Joyce Banner of Kokomo, Ind.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
