JACKSON, Mo. -- Myrtle Lee Maloney, 82, of Jackson died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, in Marion, Ill.
She was born Dec. 31, 1918, at Portageville, Mo., daughter of Louis W. and Rosa Lee Estes Gremard. She and Paul Maloney were married Sept. 12, 1936. He died Dec. 25, 1992.
Maloney worked 10 years at Ideal Cleaners in Portageville. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Maloney of Big Rock, Tenn., Clyde Maloney of Delta, Mo., Anthony Maloney of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Betty Clay of Marion, Barbara Johnson of Jackson, Shirley Grant of Addison, Ill.; two brothers, Harvey Gremard of Jonesboro, Ark., Louis Allen Gremard of Jackson; a sister, Jean Foulk of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Portageville City Cemetery.
