MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Myrtle Carter, 87, of Horn Lake, Miss., formerly of Marble Hill died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born April 3, 1916, in Grassy, Mo., to Joe and Effie Mitchell Rae. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Horn Lake.
Survivors include one son, Gene Carter of Bridgeton, Mo.; three daughters, Geneva Kirkman of Bonne Terre, Mo., Hersheline Mueller of Imperial, Mo., and Melba Minks of Horn Lake; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
