MYRLE PENDER

Myrle G. Pender, 87, of Warren, Ind., died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.

She was born Feb. 8, 1908, at Bernie, daughter of James Madison and Minnie Francis Anthony Grayum.

Pender and her husband moved to Marion, Ind., in 1939 from Cape Girardeau. He was a shoemaker. She was a salesclerk at Queen City in Marion 18 years. After retiring she moved to Lakeland, Fla., and then to Warren in 1992. She was a member of Crystal Lake United Methodist Church in Lakeland.

Survivors include a son, James Pender of Wauwatosa, Wis., and a grandson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Methodist Home, with the Rev. Herschel Dyer officiating.

Ferguson Funeral Home in Van Buren, Ind., is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Joseph Newton officiating.
