Myrle Martha Malone, 80, of Cape Girardeau went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at her home.

She was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Dunlap, Iowa, to the late Harvey and Louisa (Renz) Lauderman.

She and Jerry M. Malone were married June 16, 1955. He preceded her in death Dec. 10, 2009.

She was attending Bethany Baptist Church.

Myrle loved cooking and gardening. She was an avid collector and enjoyed spending time in her antique store, The Afternoon Shop.

Myrle knew no strangers and loved the Lord.

Loving survivors include a son, Mitchell (Julie) Malone of Cape Girardeau; daughters, Jerrianne (John) Wyman of Cape Girardeau, Mary Ellen (Tom) Cramer of Jackson and Adrienne (David) Poe of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Donnie Lauderman of California and Edwin Lauderman of Colorado; and grandchildren, Perri and Ava Poe, Erin (Geoff) Brothers, Murielle (Cody) Gaither and their children, Lilly and Reid.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Perry Blane Malone; daughter-in-law, Terri Jean Malone; brother, Roy Lauderman; and sister, Norma Broz.

Friends may call between 4 and 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Shawn Wasson officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
