Myra J. Lalumendier, 78, of Kankakee, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at her home.
She was born May 24, 1930, at Chaffee, Mo., daughter of Edward O. and Jessie E. Myers Killian. She first married Samuel Badders, who preceded her in death. She later married Lawrence Lalumendier, who also preceded her in death.
Lalumendier had worked at Shapiro Developmental Center and Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, and at Brown Shoe in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Bourbonnais, Ill.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Lalumendier of Clifton, Ill., Larry Campbell of Carlinville, Ill.; two daughters, Susan Bell of Kankakee, Wanda Bell of Maryville, Ill.; a brother, Max Killian of Pearland, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, nine siblings and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at Gospel Assembly Church.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais is in charge of arrangements.
