PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Murla M. Moore, 80, of Perryville died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at her home.
She was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Menfro, Mo., daughter of Edmund Martin and Hilda Emilie Tiedemann Gross. She and Gilbert P. Moore Sr. were married July 8, 1950.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Gilbert P. Moore Jr. of Columbia, Ill., Kevin Moore of Oak Ridge, Shawn (Melissa) Moore of Perryville; five daughters, Sheila Bohnert and Tammy (Leslie) Zahner of Perryville, Renee (Nick) Buchheit of Biehle, Mo., Pamela Moore and Michelle (Tom) Hahn of Perryville; a sister, Elsie Sandlin of Perryville; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Perryville Fire Department Auxiliary. She had worked at International Shoe Co.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Nicholl Buchheit; two brothers, Harold and Albert Gross; a sister, Luella Atchison; and a son-in-law, Eldon Bohnert.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The wake will be at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent Parish, School Endowment or Southeast Hospice.
