CHARLESTON -- Mrs. Mosie Lee Chalmers, 81, of Charleston, formerly of Memphis, died Thursday, March 4, 1993, at the Charleston Manor Nursing Center.
She was born March 1, 1912, in Brownsville, Tenn., and had lived in Charleston since 1982.
She was a member of the Mercy Seat Baptist Church.
Survivors included a son, Archie Lee of Los Angeles; daughters, Teresa Jarrett of Detroit and Mary Johnson of Charleston; a sister, Louise Corbitt of Charleston; 28 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Service will beheld Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friend may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston Monday from 6 to 7 p.m.
