MARBLE HILL -- Moses A. Totty, 72, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, June 15, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 25, 1920, at Rockview, son of Edward B. and Mary Elizabeth Holmes Totty. He and Anna Rosetta Friese were married Oct. 18, 1953, at Morley.
Totty retired after 20 years with Purex Corp. in St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. The Tottys moved to Marble Hill four years ago from Centreville, Ill.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Elizabeth Kaemmerer of Phoenix, Ariz., Charlotte Nelson and Patricia Totty of Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Edward Totty of State Park, Ill.; a sister, Bernice Wise of Scott City, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
