NORMAL, Ill. -- Morris "Mo" Waggoner Osburn, 59, of Normal passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center. Mo was born Sept. 7, 1957, in Mexico, Missouri, to Robert and Bonnie Baker Osburn. He married Diana McLaren on May 13, 2006, in Bloomington, Illinois. NORMAL, Ill. -- Morris "Mo" Waggoner Osburn, 59, of Normal passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.

Mo was born Sept. 7, 1957, in Mexico, Missouri, to Robert and Bonnie Baker Osburn. He married Diana McLaren on May 13, 2006, in Bloomington, Illinois. He previously was married to Bibbie Wilson, with whom he has two sons.

Mo attended Cape Girardeau Central High School and earned his bachelor's degree at Southeast Missouri State University. He was employed as an engineer at Hewlett Packard for 35 years, retiring in 2014.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching science-fiction movies, traveling, going to the beach and cooking, but he especially loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Osburn; two sons, Robert "Bo" (Jenna) Osburn and Morris "Mo" Lee Osburn; a granddaughter, Annie Osburn; two stepchildren, Erick (Lisa) Smith and Shane McLaren; two stepgrandchildren, Cameron and Jordyn Smith; a brother, Ted (Wendy) Osburn; nephews Brooks, Bennett and Breyton; and his beloved pug, Frank.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
