BENTON, Mo. -- Morris Wayne Hale, 71, of Benton died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his home.
He was born Feb. 18, 1942, in Charleston, Mo., to Leo F. and Seena L. Chandler Hale. He and Elizabeth Ann Vinson were married June 2, 1972. She preceded him in death Aug. 10, 2003.
Morris was a farm hand with Michael Farms, and was of the Baptist belief.

He is survived by six sons, Allan (Carolyn) Hale of Benton, Nathan (Lisa Morris) Hale of DeLand, Ill., Paul Hale of Farmington, Mo., Wayne and William Hale of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Tommy (Rhonda) Hale of Benton; a daughter, Cynthia (Donnie) Crowden of Benton; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Mary Smith.
He was preceded in death by a son, seven brothers and two sisters.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.
