WARE, Ill. -- Morris "Hoppy" Foster, 62, of Ware, died Monday, June 28, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 26, 1930, at Humphreys, Mo., son of Bernie and Gracie Warington Foster. He and Barbara Wright were married Sept. 3, 1955, at Ware.
Foster was a carpenter, and veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dale Foster of Anna; a daughter, Joy Penrod of Wolf Lake, Ill.; his mother of Lees Summit; a brother, Wayne Foster of Milan, Mo.; three sisters, Bernice Thorne of Raytown, Mo., Dora Anderson of Kansas City, Mo., Helen Fields of Browning, Mo., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with military rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today.
