CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Mordeaci "Junk" Bostic of Charleston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sparks Funeral Home. The Rev. Murry Williams will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to service time.

Bostic, 78, died Wednesday, May 15, 1996, at Charleston Manor.

He was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Arkansas, son of Mordeaci and Mamie Sawyer Bostic.

Bostic retired in 1986 from U.S. Steel in Chicago Heights, Ill.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.
