MONA MOORE

MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Mona June Moore, Matthews Route 1, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Dr. Jim Guffie will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.

Moore, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born June 15, 1922, in Moselle, daughter of Andrew J. and Daisy Perry Provance. She and William C. "Dub" Moore Jr. were married Nov. 24, 1948, in Piggott, Ark.

Moore had worked at International Shoe Co., JCPenney and Woolworth Co. in Sikeston, and was a secretary for Dr. William Critchlow six years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston and New Madrid County Extension Club.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Moore of Crawfordsville, Ind.; a daughter, Teresa Taylor of Miner; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
