MONA MCCORD

KENNETT, Mo. -- Mona L. McCord, 61, of Kennett died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 11, 1939, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of Leslie and Dorothy Davis Haywood. She and Jim McCord were married May 30, 1962, in Portageville, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Mark McCord of Jonesboro, Ark., Derek McCord of Cape Girardeau, Matthew McCord of Kennett; a daughter, Melissa McCord of Kennett; her mother of West Memphis, Ark.; a brother, Gary Haywood of West Memphis; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at McDaniel Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. C. Ray Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark.
