Molly Elizabeth Tranum, 19, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at her home. She was born Jan. 21, 1985, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of David J. Donley and Linda Charlene Lix. Molly Elizabeth Tranum, 19, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at her home.

She was born Jan. 21, 1985, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of David J. Donley and Linda Charlene Lix.

Molly was a 2003 graduate of Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee, Fla., where she was a member of National Honor Society, president of Little Big Lake Bank, and president of Walk for Life in Okeechobee.

She was a member of Cape First in Cape Girardeau, where she was enrolled in the School of Leaders to become a Networks leader. She attended Southeast Missouri State University.

Survivors include her mother and father, Linda and Bill Shank of Okeechobee; father and mother, David and Sandy Donley of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Jessica Tranum, Glenda and Christina Shank of Okeechobee; a stepsister, Tammy Silvey of Cape Girardeau; a stepbrother, Chris Wheeler of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandfather, Willard Lix of Okeechobee; paternal grandparents, James and Fern Donley of Calm, Mo., and Pat and Olus Shank of Mansfield, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Geraldene Lix.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 6 to 8 p.m. today, and at Cape First Wednesday from noon until time of service.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

The family requests donations be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, 8615 Roswell Road, Atlanta, Ga., 30350.
