Mary "Molly" Elizabeth Evans Auer, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at her home.
She was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Robert C. and Mary Frissell Evans. She and John B. Auer were married May 8, 2001, at Mooresville, North Carolina. He preceded her in death July 22, 2004.
Her biggest passion was her family. Her hobbies were reading her bible, crystal mining, horseback riding, gardening, traveling and living life to the fullest. Her famous words were, "I love you, God bless."
Survivors include three daughters, Carlin (Glenn) Halter, Kristy Halter and Tamara (Michael) Dannenmueller; son, T.J. (Debra) Halter; stepson, Luke Auer; stepdaughter, Tamara Auer; two brothers, Louis (Mary) Evans and William (Karen) Evans; 14 grandchildren, Lauren, Jason, Sierra (Cole), Molly (Anthony), Lane, Kadence, Trey (Calli), Trevor, Tyler, Trenton, Tucker, Daelyn, Nevaeh and Mikyla; and three great-grandchildren, Willow, Leo and Enzo.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepson, Johnny (Denean) Auer; and two brothers, Robert C. Evans Jr. and Pat Evans.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Chaplain Keith Luke officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
