MOLLIE SCHWEER

JACKSON -- Mollie Schweer, 92, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1992, at Deal Nursing Home.

She was born July 14, 1900, in Jackson, daughter of Edward and Layra Kathryn Yoder McBryde. She and Otto Schweer were married Oct. 4, 1917. He died Oct. 20, 1965.

Schweer was a lifelong member of Emanuel United Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, George Schweer of Jackson, Gary Schweer of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Olga Reitzel of Jackson, Fern Schlimme of Cape Girardeau, Betty Baxter of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, four brothers, a sister and grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery near Fruitland.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
