JACKSON, Mo. -- Mollie L. Lacy, 81, of Jackson died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 7, 1920, near Marble Hill, Mo., daughter of Kergious and Ella Mae Seabaugh Crites. She and Albert Walter Lacy were married Feb. 18, 1939, at Benton, Mo. He died Nov. 5, 1995.
Lacy worked many years at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and many years as a cook at R.O. Hawkins Junior High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include two sons, Lendel Lacy of Belton, Mo., Jerry Lacy of Jackson; two brothers, Lindle Crites of Cape Girardeau, Kergious Crites Jr. of Jackson; a sister, Iola Amelunke of Whitewater, Mo.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; and eight great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Dr. Brian Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
