PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mollie M. Davis, 82, of Perryville died Dec. 15, 2009, at Perry Oaks Manor.
She was born in Cape Girardeau on May 27, 1927, daughter of the late Frank and Jettie Drum Friese.
She was married July 18, 1945, to Ernest E. Davis. who preceded her in death April 28, 1998.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Leslie Jr.) Lowes and Nancy (Charles) Voelker of Perryville; a son, Frank (Judy) Davis of Jackson; and twelve grandchildren, Leslie (Amy) Lowes III, Ernie (Belle) Davis, Curtis (Tammie) Lowes, Becky (Sean) Humphrey, Charley Lowes, Robbie (Kerne) Davis, Stephen (Stephanie) Lowes, Katie Voelker, Suzanne Voelker, Chad Voelker, Dayne Voelker and Grant Voelker.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality and Ladies of Charity.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Tom and Drum David Freise; a sister, Mabel Riehn; and a great-granddaughter, Angelica Davis.
Memorials are preferred to Perryville High School Athletic Department or fine arts program.
Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. She will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for Mass at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
