Mitchell Calvin "Mitch" Conner, 53, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at his home.
He was born June 29, 1961, in Dexter, Missouri, son of Betty Stoker Taylor and the late Calvin Granvil Conner.
Mitchell was a network administrator with Associate Electric in New Madrid, Missouri.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Desert Storm.
Mitchell attended the University of Missouri at Rolla and later attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. He loved traveling and riding motorcycles, and was an adept computer technician. He loved playing his saxophone, and especially loved his mother and sister.
Survivors include his mother of Dexter; a sister, Candy Conner of Dexter; stepmother, Mary Lou Conner of Circle City, Missouri; three half sisters, Tina Riggs of Bloomfield, Missouri, Rhonda Tilly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Shelly Clark of Circle City.
The funeral was Oct. 16 at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Interment followed in Dexter Cemetery with full military honors.
