Misty Jo Ziegler, 46, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, from complications after brain surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born April 25, 1974, in Cape Girardeau to Ralph and Janet Enderle Ziegler.
Misty was a licensed clinical social worker with United Health Group. She was also a member of the Iowa City (Iowa) Women of Moose Chapter 509.
She was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly and sometimes sarcastic. The relationship with her brother, Travis, was like no other. Misty was a wonderful big sister, No. 1 in his eyes and heart, and always there for him. She made the decision to be an organ donor in order to help numerous people and live on forever. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Janet (Merle Beverlin) Enderle of Iowa City and Ralph (Kay) Ziegler of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Travis Tuschhoff of Iowa City. Misty will also be remembered by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chester and Olga Enderle and Joe and Linda Ziegler, and her uncles, Larry Enderle and Norbert Ziegler.
There will be a celebration of life from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Knights of Columbus lower hall, 28745 U.S. 61 in Scott City.
