PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Missouri M. Brown of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 a.m.
Brown, 94, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center.
She was born Dec. 3, 1899, in Perry County, daughter of David and Josephine Reed Morrison. She and Frederick Brown were married Feb. 11, 1920. He died Oct. 5, 1969.
Brown was a retired nurse aide and night attendant at a nursing home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, VFW and American Legion auxiliaries.
Survivors include three sons, Frederick Brown of Poplar Bluff, Rush Brown of St. Charles, Adrain Brown of Searcy, Ark.; two daughters, Cleo Dechman of Kirkwood, Audrey Esselman of St. Charles; a sister, Alma Juenger of St. Louis; 19 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, 10 brothers and sisters.
