PUXICO -- Minnie Shelby Phillips Zimmerman, 80, of Puxico died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at her home.
She was born July 14, 1918, in Brookland, Ark., daughter of George and Mary Stallings Roedel. She first married Clarence Shelby Oct. 6, 1934, who died May 21, 1970. She then married the Rev. Ira Edgar Phillips Jan. 2, 1982, who died Feb. 11, 1987. She later married Lloyd Zimmerman April 18, 1995, at Bloomfield.
Zimmerman lived in the Puxico and Dudley areas most of her life. She was a member of Puxico General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Elmer Shelby of Dudley, Delmer Shelby of West Alton; five stepchildren; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Puxico General Baptist Church, with the Revs. Elmer Shelby Jr. and Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
